I am a recent graduate of the Gnomon School of VFX, Games and Animation, specializing in Grooming and Look Development. My studies at Gnomon shaped me into a well-rounded 3D Generalist, working across a range of software and subject; but nothing excites me like capturing a moment in a story. I believe that textures have the power to ground a scene in its past and foreshadow its future. I strive to capture my audience through immersive storytelling and strong emotion.
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated with emotions. I wanted to tell fantastical stories, saturated with drama and narrated through charismatic characters -- all to enthral my audience and elicit their emotions. My journey led me to the world of animation and games, allowing me to create powerful stories with beautiful visuals.
I started at CG Spectrum and CGMA, making my way through the fundamentals of design, anatomy, and color. After completing the Pre-College program at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I got the chance to take CGI classes at West Valley College. As a life-long math nerd, I jumped at the opportunity to combine my two passions, and quickly fell in love with the field. A year later, I was offered a scholarship to the Gnomon School of VFX in Los Angeles -- a pursuit that changed my life forever.
